New Balance

New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. (NBAS), best known as simply New Balance, is a footwear manufacturer based in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1906 as the New Balance Arch Support Company. Eschewing expensive advertising campaigns, it has nevertheless grown to be one of the largest makers of sports footwear in the world.
New Balance is notable in that it has continued to maintain a manufacturing presence in the United States as well as in the United Kingdom for the European market—in contrast to its competitors in the same market space, such as Nike and Adidas, who design products in the US and Europe, but purchase the majority of their Footwear and Apparel from manufacturers in China, Vietnam, and other developing nations. The result of this corporate decision is that the shoes tend to be more expensive than New Balance's competitors. To offset this pricing discrepancy, New Balance differentiates their products with technical innovations , such as a blend of gel inserts, heel counters, and a greater selection of sizes, particularly for very narrow and/or very wide widths.
New Balance is one of few shoe manufacturers to offer the majority of its shoes in a wide range of widths, typically men's range from B to 6E with 3 other widths in between (D, 2E, 4E) and one narrower offering (2A). Women's range from 4A to 4E with four widths to choose from in between (2A, B, D, 2E).
New Balance does not give names to the shoes it sells, instead referring to them by a 2, 3, or 4 digit model number. This is done to "place an emphasis on the New Balance philosophy, not any one particular shoe". When a shoe is redesigned, the model number is increased by one. The numbering system originated from the price. The Tracker 320 was $32, the 990 was $99, etc. However, now the model number reflects the quality of the shoe. If the shoe has a higher number it will have more cushioning and stability than a lower number shoe. The New Balance is really comfortable shoes. I have had one pair of these, even if my store does not carry these shoes. These are not very expensive, and this look really great and comfortable.

Vans

Vans is an American based manufacturer of sneakers, BMX shoes, snowboarding boots, skateboarding and other shoe types catering primarily to the skateboarder/surfer/snowboarder youth market. They also sell apparel and accessories catering to this same youth market. I have never had one of these pair shoes, but I really want to have one of these, even if I am not skateboarding. These look good on any color of jeans, and feel comfortable. The best thing is they are nor expensive shoes, and they make many different colors also.
History of the VANS from wikipedia

On March 16, 1966, at 704 E. Broadway, in Anaheim, California, Paul Van Doren and three partners opened up their first store. The Van Doren Rubber Company was unique in that it manufactured shoes and sold them directly to the public. On that first morning, 12 customers purchased Vans deck shoes, which are now known as Authentic. The shoes which were made that day were ready for pick-up in the afternoon.
The company continued to grow into the 1970s. During this period they also produced wool lined canvas and rubber mukluks under contract to the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Air Force. Skateboarders who liked Vans rugged make-up and sticky sole were seen sporting Vans all over Southern California in the early 1970s. In 1975, the Vans #95, known today as the Era was designed by Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta. With a padded collar and different color combinations the Era became the shoe of choice for a generation of skateboarders. In 1979, Vans introduced the #44 shoe, and with the help of skateboarders and BMX riders the Vans Slip-On became all the rage in Southern California. By the end of the 1970s, Vans had 70 stores in California and sold through dealers both nationally and internationally.
As the 1980s rolled around,Paul Van Doren began to take a lesser role in the companies’ activities. Over this period, Vans started to create shoes for a number of sports from skateboarding, wakeboarding, motor cross, to surfing in an effort to compete with large athletic shoe companies. Vans Slip-Ons gained international attention and appeal when they were worn by Sean Penn in the 1982, iconic youth film Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Although Vans core shoes were selling well, the wide range of products that the company now offered had drained the companies’ resources, and with Vans not able to overcome its debt they were forced to file for bankruptcy in 1983.
After three years, Vans had paid back all creditors and emerged from bankruptcy. In 1988 Vans original owners sold out to an investment banking firm. The company has been sold several times since; most recently for $396 million in 2004 to Greensboro, N.C.-based VF Corp. Steve Van Doren, the son of co-founder Paul Van Doren, is still with the company, as is his sister Cheryl and his daughter Kristy. Vans closed their Orange, California factory and began manufacturing footwear overseas in 1994. In 1994, Vans sponsored the Inaugural Triple Crown series which developed into the Vans Triple Crown series. In 1998, Vans opened a 46,000-square-foot (4,300 m2), indoor-outdoor Vans Skate park at the Block in Orange County and in 2002 an enclosed skatepark was opened in the Festival Bay Mall on International Drive in Orlando, Florida. In 2000 and 2001, Forbes recognized Vans as one of "America’s Best Small Companies." In 2004, Vans launched the Vans Customs on their website. This allowed customers to log onto the Vans website and design their own pair of Vans Slip-ons, mid-cuts, or high-tops. Nowadays, it allows for the design of custom Era, Slip-On,Old Skool, and 106 Vulcanized shoes.
Vans has been the primary sponsor of the Warped Tour music festival since 1995.

The Mercurial Vapor

The Mercurial Vapor is a football boot manufactured by Nike. The boot is known for being lightweight, the latest versions weighing 185 g (6.5 oz) per boot. Because of this, the boot is favoured by many players for whom speed is a very important part of their game, notably wingers or strikers. The boot is now in its sixth version the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II, currently available in four colourways: violet poppy/dark obsidian/orange; cactus green/dark obsidian/white, dark obsidian/cool mint/white; and cherry/white/dark obsidian
The boot is available in either Soft Ground (SG) or Firm Ground (FG) versions. The SG version's sole plate is fitted with six NikeSnap removable studs, which can be purchased in different lengths, for the first and second models, and traditional screw-in aluminium studs for versions 3 to 6; the FG version has twelve moulded blades
BACKGROUD
The origin of the Mercurial Vapors can be traced back to as early as 1998, when Ronaldo debuted the original Nike Air Mercurial boots. The boots were originally released in black, but a version in silver/blue/yellow was released for the 1998 World Cup and a blue/black version followed soon after. All boots were made in Soft Ground (SG) and Firm Ground (FG) varieties, with the FG version using non-removable studs. In 1999, the Mercurial 2 was released in two colourways: black/blue and black/red. These were identical in shape, size, and fit to the originals, but they had a different insole and a smaller swoosh on the side of the boot. The Mercurials were Nike's first boots to be made using synthetic materials, and also their first venture into the market of lightweight boots designed for speed.
Mercurial Vaper
The original Vapors were released in mid-2002, just before the World Cup of that year. The first glimpse anyone outside of Nike got of the boots was in the Nike cage advert (starring Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry, and Roberto Carlos), in which a close-up shot of the boots is taken near the end of the advert. The boot was first released in three colourways: cinder/white/maize; dark obsidian/white/university blue; and medium grey/chilli red. A chrome/lime variation (worn exclusively by Ronaldo in the Semi-Finals and Final) was released to the public in limited numbers (just 4,600) in the period after the tournament. Other colours included white/ice/black; chrome/black; black/chilli red; dark charcoal/surf blue/white; and shock orange/white. In addition to the NikeSkin Vapors, Nike released its first kangaroo leather version of the shoe in black/grey. The Vapors also continued with the R9 designation on boots that was featured originally in the previous Mercurial lines. Both chrome colourways featured the "R9" mark.
At the time of release, the Vapor was the lightest boot on the market with several key innovations. The upper was made of an extremely thin, lightweight synthetic known as Nike Skin. It was claimed to be thinner and stronger than any kangaroo leather. The Vapor also featured an external heel counter which was very uncommon at that time as well as a "glass" filled outsole called NikeFrame, inspired by track sprint spikes and designed to spring back into shape after push-off. According to the booklets inserted into the box with each pair, the shoe showed a 3% decrease in the time to cover a 20-metre sprint compared to other boots. These boots are still one of the most prenound soccer cleats on the market and are praised for their stability and weight.

Hi this is June and I post today about soccer. My favorite sport is the soccer. and these soccer shoes are the one that I want to have. even if these are not the sneakers, I want to show to everybody about this shoes.
these look so great.

NIKE Shox

Shox is a shoe feature developed by Nike and incorporated in several of their flagship athletic sports shoes. Shox is an array of small hollow columns in the midsoles of the shoe, usually of rubber. There are different formations, but Shox are usually four circular columns in a square formation to provide cushioning. There can also be five or six Shox, 25 mm high, though they may vary in height, and triangular and rectangular Shox that Nike says provide better stability. Some shoes have midsoles made entirely of Shox, like the TL series. [1]
The first shoes to use the Shox technology were introduced in late 2000, the R4 runner, the BB4 basketball shoe, and the XT4 cross-training shoe.[citation needed]
Nike claims that Shox not only absorb impact from heel strike while running, but also claims they "spring back" and add more power to a runner's stride. Aside from this alleged boost in speed, the Shox is supposed to provide superior shock absorption with high-tech elastic foam.
The newer Shox series is compatible with "Nike+ technology." The Nike Shox Saya+ is the most recent Shox with this feature. The new Nike Shox Q'Vida Hi shoe is a new woman's "dance boot" implementation of Shox.
Actor Hugh Laurie of Fox's House is said to have 37 pairs of size 12½ Shox that he wears on the show and off set.[citation needed]
Athletes that are notable for wearing shoes with Shox technology include Alex Rodriguez, Vince Carter, Jermaine O'Neal, David M. West and Carlos Boozer.[citation needed]
Some of Nike’s best selling shoes include Shox, like the Shox NZ and Shox Turbo, which are available in different colors. These shoes can be found for customization on NikeID, Nike's online shoe customizing site. There are numerous options like different colors and materials for the Shox, along with custom tags.
On February 17, 2006, BBC News reported that Nike had filed a patent infringement suit against rival Adidas, claiming that a range of their trainers replicated its technology

Birkenstock

Hi this is June and I just got a email from the prof that the monday class is canceled.
Today I am going to post a popular sandle. the name is Birkenstock.

Birkenstock Orthopädie GmbH & Co. KG is a shoe manufacturer headquartered in Vettelschoß, Germany. The company sells Birkenstock, a German brand of sandals and other shoes notable for their contoured cork and rubber footbeds, which conform somewhat to the shape of their wearers' feet. Representative products include the two-strap sandal, the Arizona, and the Boston clog.
The Birkenstock brand traces its roots to a German by the name of Johann Adam Birkenstock. Birkenstock was registered in 1774 as a "subject and shoemaker" in local church archives. In 1897 it was Johann's grandson, Konrad Birkenstock, who developed the first contoured insole to be used by shoemakers in the production of custom footwear. 1902 saw another first in shoemaking by Konrad when he developed the first flexible arch support to be inserted in factory-made shoes. In 1964, these inserts were developed further into a shoe by Karl Birkenstock, and what would become the Birkenstock sandal was created.
Since 1967, these shoes have been sold in the USA. American Margot Fraser "discovered" Birkenstock sandals while on a holiday in Germany. She gained relief from a foot condition, and founded a trading company called Birkenstock Footprint Sandals, Inc. in Novato, California, based on her enthusiasm for the sandals. Renamed Birkenstock Distribution USA, Inc. in 2005, it remains the exclusive importer and distributor of Birkenstock name-brand products in the United States.
Since the 1980s, Birkenstock footwear has become popular among medical professionals (e.g. dentists, nurses) and others who work on their feet. In Germany, the sandals are most often used as house slippers, but in the United States they have become a part of everyday clothing from professionals to blue collar workers, even to the entertainment industry. Heidi Klum designs footwear for Birkenstock and wears them as well.
When not used as work footwear, people usually wear Birkenstocks with casual clothing. Birkenstocks are most often worn without socks.

The Air Jordan 13

Hi everyone, this is June and I am going to post about the new jordan series. I have been posting 3 jordan series and this is the fourth one. Amongst the highly-anticipated releases for this year for Jordan Brand would be the Air Jordan XIII (13) retro during the Flint Grey colorway. The timing is best for Jordan aficionados, whose attention in late December will probably be geared on the Air Jordan XI (11) Retro from the Cool Grey colorway, as they’ll have a little bit of time in between the releases of two hugely well-known sneakers in the Jordan canon. The draw to this model will be the sleek college blue upper combined with white hits on the toe and midsole. The flint shade that lends the shoe its nickname appears around the heel and midfoot panels and on a portion of the outsole. Begin allocating funds for the massive time releases coming out vacation season, as proper around turkey time, on November 26th to be precise, this shoe will drop at Jordan Brand retailers.

the air max

Nike Air Max is a line of shoes first released by Nike, Inc. in 1987. Since its introduction, Nike has frequently introduced new and updated models in the same product line. The Nike Air Max shoe uses a large air cushioning unit at the heel which is visible from the side of the midsole in most models. Different types of Air Max cushioning include "Air Max2" which does not have the "holes" in the cushioning unit and is of high pressure, "Tube Air" which is visible in several small circles on the midsole of the shoe, "Total Air" which is basically just another word for full Air Max cushioning, "Tuned Air," which is a system of individual pods supposedly "tuned" to different areas of the foot. Air in the early 1990s which was visible through the bottom of the shoe (although smaller portions of Air units are visible through the bottom of many Air Max models) and another type of Air cushioning is the low profile and very responsive "Zoom Air."

Culture and Fashion

The shoe has aged well since its introduction. The shoe is popular among underground and known groups.
In the last few years with the internet gaining more popularity among the youth, AirMax has gone into a new phase. Websites and shops have been set up to sell custom Airmaxes. This often involves painting the AirMax to give it a unique color.
Due to its cushion, the shoe is a popular clothing item in Hip Hop Culture and among gabber music fans.

Hi this is June and I am going to post about the air max from the NIKE. Firstly, I want to say these are really comfortable, it is made for running so the company put whole air part on the bottom. There are the air max series 90, 95, 97, and 2010 etc. I have been had 2 pairs of these air max 95 series. I am really happy with these shoes.

the costs will be little bit high, but everyone likes the air max series.

the TOMS

TOMS Shoes is an American footwear company that is based in Santa Monica, California,[1] which also operates a for-profit subsidiary, Friends of TOMS. The company was founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie, an entrepreneur from Arlington, Texas.[2][3][4] The company designs and sells lightweight shoes based on the Argentine alpargata design.[5] With every pair sold, TOMS donates a new pair of shoes to a child in need

Social Entrepreneurship

For every pair of TOMS Shoes purchased, a pair of new shoes is given to a child in need. Over 600,000 pairs of shoes have been given to children under the One for One movement since TOMS launched in 2006.[17] The canvas shoes have been given to children in the United States (Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Florida), Argentina, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Guatemala, Haiti, and South Africa. TOMS are sold at more than 500 stores nationwide and internationally, including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Whole Foods, which features styles made from recycled materials.[18] In January 2009, TOMS collaborated with Element Skateboards to create a line of TOMS shoes, skate decks and longboards. For each pair of TOMS Element shoes and/or skateboard is bought, one of the same was given to kids at the Indigo Skate camp in the village Isithumba in Durban, South Africa. Blake Mycoskie is hoping to expand the One for One model into other areas like housing, water and schoolbooks. Mycoskie would like to create partnerships with companies so his customers can buy what they need while the same things are given to those who need them across the globe.

Charity

Friends of TOMS is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate of TOMS Shoes.[21] The organization coordinates volunteer activities and all TOMS shoe drops.
In 2006, TOMS Shoes distributed 10,000 pairs of shoes in Argentina.[6][22] In November 2007, the company distributed 50,000 pairs of shoes to children in South Africa.[23] As of April 2009, TOMS Shoes had distributed 140,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina, Ethiopia, South Africa as well as children in the United States.[24] The company announced in April 2010 that they had given over 600,000 pairs of new shoes to children in need around the world

Current projects

In 2009, TOMS aimed to give shoes to children in Haiti in partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative.[34] They have also built a factory in Ethiopia and developed a specialized rubber boot that will help to further prevent disease in the surrounding areas.[35] The company has also expanded its merchandise list to include clothing and different types of shoes including Stitchouts, Wrap Boots, Botas, Cordones, and the highly anticipated Wedge, which debuted June 2010.
On April 8, 2010, TOMS hosted the 3rd annual One Day Without Shoes. The company challenged people worldwide to go a day without shoes in order to raise awareness for the millions of children who go without shoes every day. Over 250,000 people across the globe went barefoot on April 8 in support of TOMS One Day Without Shoes.

Hi everyone, today I am going to blog about the TOMS shoes. These shoes are amazing, if you buy one pair of shoes, another a pair goes to someone who needs a shoes. When I heard this, I automatically thought, yes I should buy one pair!! and When I tried them, it was so comfortable, and stylish. after then, I recommended to my girlfriend for buying it, and she bought red shoes.
I want everyone who read this blog to buy one of these shoes. they make a lot of different style shoes and someone bought white plain shoes and she draw something on her shoes, it was so amazing.
I am really happy with these shoes. the cost is about $40~45. and I think they run little bit small.

The UGG boots

Ugg boots (sometimes called uggs) are unisex sheepskin boots, made of twin-faced sheepskin with fleece on the inside and with a tanned outer surface, often with a synthetic sole. Ugg boots are believed to have been first developed in New Zealand orAustralia, although the exact date is uncertain.
There has been a dispute between manufacturers of ugg boots, as to whether "ugg" is ageneric term and thus ineligible for trademark protection, especially in the region of origin. Deckers Outdoor Corporation holds the UGG trademark in more than 100 countries worldwide.[2] Notable exceptions are Australia and New Zealand where the term is considered generic.

History

The origins of the ugg boot style are disputed, with both Australia and New Zealand claiming to have been the origin of the footwear.[4] Nevertheless, it appears that "fug boots" (thought to be a shortened form of "flying ugg boots") were used by aviators during World War I,[5] and that they were present in rural Australia during the 1920s.[4] While it is not clear when manufacturing started, by 1933 ugg boots were being manufactured by Blue Mountains Ugg Boots,[6] and Mortels Sheepskin Factory were making the boots from the late 1950s.[5]
In regard to naming, it appears that ugg bootsugh boots and ug boots have been used as generic terms for sheepskin boots in Australia and New Zealand since at least the 1970s,[1][7] although individual accounts have suggested that the terms (or variations thereof) were employed earlier. The 1970s saw the emergence of advertising using the names,[1] but Brian Smith, (who founded Ugg Holdings Inc), has stated that the boots were referred to as "uggs" long before the word was trademarked,[8] The Mortel Skeepskin Factory has been making ugg boots since 1958 with Frank Mortel claiming he named them Ugg boots after his wife commented that the first pair he made were "ugly".[9][10][11][12]
In the 1960s, ugg boots became a popular option for competitive surfers,[7] who used the boots to keep their feet warm after exiting from the surf.[13] Surfing helped popularise the boots outside Australia and New Zealand, when surfer Brian Smith started selling the boots in the United States through the company Ugg Holdings, Inc. in 1979.[13] After this was sold toDeckers Outdoor Corporation in 1995, ugg boots emerged as a fashion trend in the United States through Deckers' promotion of their brand, with celebrities such as Kate Hudson,Sarah Jessica Parker and Pamela Anderson wearing the boots,[14][15][16] (although Anderson renounced ugg boots in 2007 upon realising that they were made from animal skin).[15] Deckers' actions to promote their product "led to an exponential growth in the brand's popularity and recognizability."[17]Deckers has reported sales of US$689 million under the UGG brand in 2008,[18] an increase from US$14.5 million in 1995.

Today I am posting the UGG boots. The people thought there are not men boots, however there are also men size boots too, but I have never seen a guy wears the UGG boot. :))))
I tried to wear my girl friend's boots, it was really warm lol.
These boots cost is really high, bout $ 150 and $ 180  it is a but almost every girls have at least one of them. so I can imagine this boots are really hot thesedays.

The Lebron 8 jordan

Hi this is June and I am going to blog about basketball shoes today.
We all know about the jordan series. This is the new Lebron 8 jordan series.
When I tried them size 8 these are little bit tight even if I were size 8.
So I think they run little bit tight, but I think that is their purpose
because when you play basketball you need tight shoes to protect your ankle.
And they are really really comfortable.
When I try them on my foot, the bottom part was so soft,
because there are whole air part on the bottom

Their cost are about $130. As we know the jordan series are high.

The converse chuck

Hi this is June, how was your week? ::))))
Today I am going to post about converse chuck. I am sure everyone has worn them at least once.

Chuck Taylor All Star basketball shoe.
The Chuck Taylor All Star shoe has developed a number of nicknames over the years, such as: "Cons", "Connies", "Convics", "Convos", "Verses", "Chuckers", "Chucks", "Converse", "Chuckies", "Chuckie Ts", or "Chucker Boots" or "Chuck Taylors" for the higher styles.[citation needed] For decades the Chuck Taylor All Star basketball shoe only came in black, with a white variant released in 1947. Under pressure from basketball teams Converse decided in 1966 to manufacture other colors. Different materials also began to be used, starting in the 1970s, including leather, suede and vinyl, and even hemp, rather than just canvas. Besides high-tops, low-cuts and later knee-high versions were produced. After Converse was bought by Nike, operations were moved from the United States to overseas. The fabric is no longer 2-ply cotton canvas but 1-ply "textile" and many wearers have noticed different patterns of wear. Types include neon, clear plastic, words, etc. and remains popular for children and adults all over. Today, even in countries in the East like in India, they are a common choice for all children from above Std. VII. Several colours don the market and even Chinese companies manufacture such shoes.
These are really popular shoes and the most powerful advantage is they are cheap.
These shoes run right so you can get rigt your size.
and these are very cheap, so I think they are not comfortable if you need to stand up long time.

The AJF 10

Hi everyone, this is June. Did you guys have fun for the weekend? I had so much fun in NY city. I hope I get the phone call for the prof... you know what I am saying.. hahahah It is joke.  :)))))

Today, I am going to post about the Air Jordan series again. Today's Air Jordan is AJF 10 stands for Air Jordan Force 10. I really like the white sneakers, but as what I told right before blog, the white sneakers can be dirty very easily. However, this sneaker has black part ao do not have to worry about being dirty so much. I said before, the air jordan and air force series are really comfortable, so these are really comfortable. Also, as you can see, there are toddler to men size, so every generation can be happy with these shoes. These run right. But specially the high top sneakers can be little tight to you, if you have never worn them.

The price is about $150 for the men size, and less than $50 for toddler size( but I am not sure about the toddler's price.. sorry)
